Billy Packard: The murky waters of mining
Grass Valley resident Billy Packard was particularly disappointed about a recent article in The Union... and what WASN'T said pertaining to the water aspect of the Rise Gold project. I read the article on Rise Gold about their promises on water treatment. “It may make water have a musty odor.” Andy Kopania, a hydrologist hired by Rise Gold Corp, said, “Though unpleasant, water containing these naturally occurring minerals is not bad for one’s health.”
Right! Drink up!
