July Day of Action A Huge Success

Christy Hubbard

We're so proud of our amazing community who came out in force on July 22's Day of Action to show the absurdity of Rise Gold's privately-funded survey (which claims the majority of residents support the mine). Our volunteers talked with people across Grass Valley and Nevada City and heard overwhelming opposition to the mine, with nary a supporter to be found.

Read The Union's coverage of our big day! This is not OK. Organizers mobilize in light of Rise Gold Survey.

THANK YOU to EVERYONE who came out!. Here are just a few of the pictures that were taken! If you have more to share, please send them to mineconcerns@cea-nc.org.
